  • We booked this apartment through 'Powderbeds' and travelled here by car. The check-in at reception (after 4pm) was hassle free, & we were given all the info we needed. We had a one bedroom apartment for two of us, which was perfect. The bedroom is very small, just enough room for the double bed, but adequate. The living area is modern & well fitted out with everything you need. We had stocked up en route at a large supermarket, but the supermarket and the bakery in the village is really good, & has everything you would need. It's a 10 min walk down to the village, & quite a steep hike back up.
    We were fortunate enough with the snow conditions to be able to ski out and back in virtually to the ski locker! For a beginner, it would be challenging to ski down to the chairlift, but possible.
    Montchavin is a good place to access the La Plagne area. we also used the Les Arcs 'day' option on the lift pass, & got the gondola across, where the skiing was fantastic. (Make sure you leave enough time to do the return crossing).
    We made use of the free sauna session, and the swimming pool. Also used the bakery delivery service, which was excellent.
    All in all, this is a great place to stay. The one bedroom apartment would be fine for a family with 2 children, but would recommend getting 2apartments if there are 4 adults(or more).

Excellent Swimming Facilities

With an excellent sauna and steam room facilities available to guests for €8 a session or €39 for 7 sessions, you can relax in the evening after skiing, the swimming pool is free.

Well known as a family friendly resort and with its location 500m from the ESF ski school, this is a great choice for families.

Location

Les 3 Glaciers is well located about 500m from the centre of Montchavin and a similar distance from the ESF ski school and the ski lifts.

Directions

On the N90 follow signs to Haute Tarrentaise, after which follow signs to Montchavin/Les Coches via Landry. On entering resort, take a left into the center when your reach the t-junction, continue forward through the town and as you climb the hill you'll take 5 bends before Les 3 Glaciers appears on the right round the bend.

Arrivals must take place within reception opening hours. In case of a delay on the arrival date, please contact the residence’s reception directly to agree on an alternative arrangement, otherwise access to the accommodation cannot be guaranteed.

On arrival, if there are any issues with cleanliness these should be reported to the Residence Manager immediately

In order to qualify for a full refund of the security deposit, apartments (including kitchenette) must be left fully cleaned. A cleaning charge will be incurred if accommodation is not left thoroughly cleaned.
