Cosy and comfortable apartments, conveniently located just 400m from the resort centre of Valmeinier 1800. The Club L'Ecrin des Neiges offers quick and easy access to the ski terrain with the ski slopes sitting just 200m from the residence and the nearest ski lift being only 50m away.

The residence has a fantastic view of the mountains, which can be enjoyed from the balcony or terraces of the individual apartments.

1 Bedroom Apartment - Sleeps 5/6

A cozy 33-41 m² apartment, sleeping up to 6 guests. There is a kitchenette which is adequately equipped with fridge, mini-oven or microwave, dishwasher and hotplate and there is a bathroom with a separate toilet. Each apartment has either a balcony or a terrace. There are two possible layouts for this size of apartment:

The living room has a pull out bed for 2.There is one bedroom with either a double bed or twin beds and a cabin room at the entrance with 2 bunks.

OR

A living area. A bedroom with double or twin beds, a mezzanine bedroom with either bunk beds, twin beds or two sets of bunk beds.

A comfortably furnished 38 m² apartment sleeping up to 7 people. There is a living/dining area. One double bedroom and a mezzanine bedroom with bunk beds or twin beds and a single bed.

Cooking facilities can be found in the apartment’s kitchenette and there is a bathroom with a separate toilet. Each apartment has a balcony.

  • The accommodation was VERY basic but if driving you can add the creature comforts. Like towels, pillows, duvets, extra food as the supermarket is basic and expensive, toilet rolls, TOWELS. You need to clean the apartment yourself when you leave and every addition is charged extra even the towels, internet and TV. The boot room is extremely basic - a locker and that is it - no studs coming out to hang your boots to keep them dry etc so they were all wet by the morning at the bottom of the locker and most took people took their boots to the rooms so we started to do that too. The resort is sweet and you can walk easily to the slopes just 2 mins. A bakery nearby for morning bread and plenty of ski runs for the week. Our room faced the mountain so we had stunning views. Great holiday, go prepared with a car full of your things and its perfect. We travelled lite and wished we had looked at the finer detail. Also, the picture on the website of the apartment is nothing like the apartment we stayed in. So check that too.

  • Good basic accommodation but why pay more as you ski all day and should be too tired to do much at night? Conveniently located by slopes / shops. A family of 4 needs a 6 person appartment (as in all french appartments, summer or winter)

Location

Résidence L'Ecrin des Neiges is ideally located in the authentic village and ski resort of Valmeinier 1800. Situated just a few minutes from the centre of the resort and is only 50m from the nearest ski lift and 200m from the ski slopes.

Directions

If Driving, follow up to Saint Michel de Maurienne on either the A43 or RN6. From here Valmeinier 1800 is 12km away. On arrival in resort, take a right turn and the residence is located on the left-hand side.

Security deposit of €300 to be paid at check-in.

For any arrival after 8pm guests must call reception in advance to confirm arrangements for a late check-in.

Check out between 8-10am

Apartments must be returned to perfect and clean condition.

There is a €54-100 final cleaning charge per apartment.

The reception is open every day from 8am to 11am and from 5pm to 7pm,
Saturday from 3pm to 8pm.
