  • The staff were lovely. Really friendly and helpful.
    The accommodation was a good size and the furnishing was good quality. There was a balcony, but it was tiny and no provision for sitting out on it. What’s the point of a balcony if you can’t sit on it? But to be fair, the view from the dining table through the balcony door was lovely.
    The lighting in the bedrooms and bathrooms was not really adequate. It was difficult to see well enough to put make up on due to poor lighting.
    Good ski storage. Ski out was fine. Ski in more of a challenge as you have to traverse quite a lot of flat ground before you pick up the slope which leads to the door. That probably won’t be a problem if you’re young and fit but I’m neither and found it somewhat hard work.
    The swimming pool was kept at a chilly 27-28C so we weren’t tempted to spend long in it. The sauna was nice though with a one-way window looking out onto the pool.
    Parking was well worth the extra money.
    Bottom line - I have a few reservations about this accommodation and probably wouldn’t go back there myself but I’m sure it works well for others.

  • We were really delighted with the accommodation at Le Taos. The apartment was clean, spacious and well furnished with two ensuite bedrooms. Our stay was perfect. The kitchen area is small but ideal for breakfast preparation, and being able to ski out directly from the locker area is excellent.

  • 2nd time we've stayed at le Taos so obv like it. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment with mountain view. Good size, stylish and comfortable. Pool, sauna and steam room always v quiet (we always went about 7:30 so maybe busier earlier). Staff always pleasant and helpful with small issues. Smallest kitchen area I have ever seen in ski apartment but had everything we needed. Wifi good (limited to 3 devices). Ski in/out fine for us but not ideal if had kids in lessons.. couldn't ski out directly to meeting place so noticed families walking down in morning.

Spa & Wellness

At the end of a day on the slopes, head back to the residence to enjoy the in-house pool facilities. Complete with a swimming pool, sauna and hammam its a perfect place to unwind. If you're in the mood to indulge, the Well-being centre with Nohem products can provide massages and beauty treatments. Open 11am-8pm each day. Times may be subject to change.

Restaurants, Dining & Bars

If you choose not to self cater in your apartment, there are a great range of restaurants and bars close by on the Prom du Toviere and across the rest of Tignes le Lac if you fancy venturing further out into the resort.

Families & Children

Families will enjoy the spacious apartments with home comforts and separate bedrooms. The convenience of self catering and a ski in/ski out location is favourable for parents and children alike.

Location

Residence Le Taos is located on the Lavachet piste in Tignes and is a short way away from the Paquis chairlift. The residence is centrally located in Le Lac area of Tignes providing easy access to the resort amenities.

Directions

If driving, from Bourg St Maurice, take the D1090 towards Seez and then take the D902 towards Sainte Foy/La Thuile/Le Villaret. When the road forks off, turn right towards Tignes. Continue along the D87A until you get to Tignes (approx 30kms). As you arrive at the roundabout in Tignes, Take the exit towards the Mairie and the Residence Taos will be on your right.
